Customized Formulation
Virtual Chemist works with end-users, designers, and part manufacturers to formulate materials for their application. Engaging with Virtual Chemist is free of charge and we get paid once you have your desired formulation.
We start by learning about your application (part) is you are making and what industry will be used (e.g., medical device, electronics, automotive, consumer goods and more), what is your manufacturing method (e.g., injection molding, rotomolding, 3d printing and more), what is your current materials (if any) and what are your issues, and last what are your requirements (properties, cost, volume, availability and more).
Then we tailor different formulations based on commercially available materials and additives and rank your options. After you prioritize which formulation should be tested first, we work with you on next steps to make them materials in lab scale and test and scale up. End users will have fully transparency on materials costs, availability, other alternative, conversion cost (e.g., compounding, grinding and more) or any associated cost/concerns with their materials supply.
Finding Alternatives
If your have any issues with your current production materials we will help you find alternative supplies without any change in the final performance of your products. If you inconsistency with the quality of your materials, if it is hard to find it available, if the cost is too high for your product, Virtual Chemist will find all possible alternative materials without improvising quality.
Quality Control
Majority of materials supplier have their own quality control (QC) to assure it is meeting their customers expectations and they will provide Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for their sold product to customers.
However, passing material suppliers QC does not always translate to the quality of final part.
Virtual Chemist works with part manufacturer to design a meaningful QC method based on the application and Manufacturing process for any incoming raw material.
